Sad: Family Easter Breakfast Selfie Just Hours Before The Deadly Sri Lanka Bombings

On Easter Sunday, it was reported that eight bomb blasts in churches and hotels across Sri Lanka left no fewer that 207 people dead and 400 seriously injured.

The coordinated attacks were said to have targeted congregations, who were taking part in Easter Sunday services at various churches when the blasts went off simultaneously.

Guests in the luxury hotels of Shangri-La, Kingsbury and Cinnamon Grand in the heart of Colombo were also among the casualties where the attackers struck.

CNN took to their instagram page to share a cute family selfie taken just hours before the deadly bom blast which rocked Sri Lanka as they share their condolences.

it was captioned: “Rest in peace ❤️ you will be dearly missed.” This is just one of the hundreds of Facebook comments now paying tribute to TV chef Shantha Mayadunne and her daughter Nisanga Mayadunne, who were killed in an explosion at the Shangri-la Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. At least 290 people have been killed and hundreds more injured in a series of bombings across Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. Nisanga posted this photo just hours before the bombings began, showing herself, her mother and several others eating breakfast at the hotel. The photo caption read “Easter breakfast with the family.”
