Manchester United Out Of Champions League After Playing It A Little Too Late Against Leipzig

Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba pull Manchester United a little too late out of goalless rut against German Leipzig in tonight's Champions League game.


With a two goal lead, RB Leipzig dominated the first half. By the 69th minute the Red Devils conceded another goal.

A stunning penalty shot by Fernandes in the 80th minute however gave hop to Man United, a seond goal by Pogba in the 82nd minute bolstered hope but the final whistle ended the game 3-2 in favour of Leipzig just when it seemed Manchester United was getting into the game.

Manchester United are thus out of the Champions League and move on to Europa.
