Confusion broke out on Monday in the Kwara State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development along Jebba Road, Ilorin, when a Director, Dr Khalid Ibrahim-Ndaman, was suddenly found dead in his office.

Ibrahim-Ndaman was until his death the director of veterinary in the ministry.

The PUNCH gathered that he was discovered to be lifeless in the office when a worker went to meet him about an hour after his arrival.

An official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “There was a pending official matter since Friday that the worker needed to conclude with him. The man knocked on his door, but no response.

“Having waited outside without any response, the worker went inside the office and met him resting his head on a table. He greeted him, still no response, until he moved close and touched him to realise that he was already dead.”

The Press Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Yusuf Ganiyu, could not be reached, as he did not pick his calls.
