How KFC Nigeria's Nationwide BOGO Bucket Deal Now Includes 4 New Dips

Chicken lovers across Nigeria have a reason to circle their calendars. KFC Nigeria has announced a nationwide, single-day promotion offering customers a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal on its popular Chicken Bucket meals, a move set to hand shoppers as much as 50 percent in savings on one of the country's most in-demand quick-service meals, now comes with 4 new dips.

The promo runs for one day only — Wednesday, 19th August — and applies to any of KFC's three bucket sizes: 8 pieces, 12 pieces, or 21 pieces, each served with 4 dips from a selection that includes Mayo, BBQ, Mayo, and Suyannaise. Customers who purchase one bucket meal at regular price will receive a second bucket of the same size, along with an additional 4 dips of their choice, at no extra cost.

The offer will be available across KFC outlets in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, Akure, Ilorin, Sagamu, and Ibadan, giving the promo one of the widest geographic spreads of any KFC Nigeria campaign this year.

Industry watchers say the timing and structure of the deal — a full duplicate bucket rather than a percentage discount — makes it one of the most generous value plays in the local fast-food space in recent memory, particularly for families and groups looking to stretch their naira further on a midweek treat.

Speaking on the motivation behind the promo, Mariam Busari, MCIM, ARPA, Head of Sales & Marketing at KFC Nigeria, said the campaign was designed with loyalty in mind rather than pure sales targets. "This isn't just about driving people into our stores for a day," she noted. "For us, it's a way of rewarding the customers who have supported KFC consistently — the families, the friend groups, the everyday customers who keep choosing us. We wanted to give something back to them in a way they'd actually feel."

Abhishek Kumar, Head of Operations at KFC Nigeria, added that executing a promo of this scale across nine cities in one day is a direct test — and demonstration — of the brand's operational standards. "Running this seamlessly across that many locations on a single day speaks to operational excellence, which is baked into who we are as a brand," he said. "But at its heart, this promotion is about family and about sharing a meal — values that have always sat at the center of the KFC experience."

With the promo strictly limited to the 19th of August, KFC Nigeria is encouraging customers to plan their visits early, as outlets are expected to see heavy demand throughout the day.
